BBC Radio 3's "Hear
and Now" programme features a recording of Alan's performance
of Giacinto Scelsi's "Ko-Tha" for guitar treated as a percussion instrument
from the 2005 Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival, as well an interview
with Alan about the piece. Also on the programme is Scelsi's "TKRDG" for
guitar, 3 percussionists and 6 male singers, recorded live at the Huddersfield
Festival with James Wood conducting the New London Chamber Choir and Alan
Thomas again on "percussion guitar". |
